The lampshade is attached using narrow aluminium profiles so that no shadows are created at the edges. The half-cylinder shaped lampshade is made of chintz fabric (flame-retardant), which is slightly translucent and diffuses the light towards the front. Light is emitted directly upwards and downwards through openings. A replaceable R7s bulb is supplied as the light
